A UFO, is short for Unidentified Flying Object. A UFO is any aerial phenomenon that cannot be immediately identified or explained by the observer. While the term UFO is often associated with alien spacecraft, a UFO is simply any object in the sky that an observer does not recognize.

If you see something strange in the sky that you believe to be a UFO, make sure to attempt to identify it as a common object like a plane, star, or Venus before reporting it. A typical UFO looks like a domed saucer.  UFOs can also have other shapes like cylinders, eggs, ovals, cubes, and more. UFOs are typically described as being white or silver in color, metallic, smooth, with no seams, and no welds.
